Third megaload now inside Montana

BOISE – The third of four ConocoPhillips equipment shipments safely reached the Idaho/Montana border late Friday night, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The shipment left milepost 169 on U.S. Highway 12 at 10:01 p.m. Friday, and reached the top of Lolo Pass as 10:41 p.m. It entered Montana at 11:12 p.m.

Emmert, the contract hauler moving the equipment for ConocoPhillips, plans to begin hauling the fourth and final shipment from the Port of Lewiston on Tuesday. The destination of all four equipment shipments is a ConocoPhillips refinery in Billings, Mont.
