PORT OF LEWISTON BROADBAND PROJECT

General Notice. Port of Lewiston (Owner) is requesting quotes for materials for the following Project: Port of Lewiston Broadband Project. Quotes for the owner provided materials for the Project will be received via email sent to: [email protected] cc: [email protected], until May 13, 2025 at 5:00 pm pst. Quotes will not be publicly read.

The Project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. The owner provided materials include: 288-count fiber optic cable, 1.25-inch underground conduit and couplers, 3-way microduct/future path conduit, handholes, route markers, test stations, cabinets, and patch cables.  Additive Alternative 1 includes two additional 1.25-inch conduit and couplers.

Obtaining the Request for Quote Documents. Documents are available via email request sent to: [email protected] cc: [email protected].

Instructions to Bidders. All quotes must be filled out completely with no blanks, signed and dated. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the Owner. Owner reserves the right to make purchases by line item from different vendors or accept all line items from a single vendor.

General Notice. Port of Lewiston (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Port of Lewiston Broadband Project. Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Port of Lewiston located at 1626 6th Ave. N., Lewiston, ID 83501, until May 13, 2025 at 2:00 pm pst. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. The Project includes the following Work: Construction of 92- miles of 288-count fiber optic cable and two 1.25-inch underground conduit ducts from Moscow, ID to Grangeville, ID. Includes installation of underground conduit, fiber cable, hand holes, markers and splices. Base Bid includes fiber optic cable, and two underground conduits runs. Additive Alternative 1 includes two additional (four total) underground conduits runs.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents. Prospective bidders shall purchase digital documents from Quest CDN to receive addenda postings. Please contact Quest CDN at 952-233-1632 or [email protected] for assistance with digital project information. Bids will only be accepted from bidders on the Quest CDN plan holders list.

Documents may also be examined for free by appointment at Port of Lewiston, 1626 6th Ave. N., Lewiston, ID 83501.

Pre-bid Conference. A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on April 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm pst at Port of Lewiston, 1626 6th Ave. N., Lewiston, ID 83501. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not required.

Instructions to Bidders. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the Owner.

POL IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SMALL WORKS ROSTER 2024-2026

Notice is hereby given that the Port of Lewiston (the ‘Port’) is accepting applications from contractors who wish to be placed on the Port’s 2024 Small Works Roster. Applicants, where required by law, must be properly licensed in the State of Idaho. Contractors whose names appear on the Small Works Roster may be contacted from time to time to submit job proposals for contracts in the amount of $50,000.00 or less. (Idaho Code, Title 54, Chapter 19)
