Megaload set to continue journey to Montana

May 2, 2011

A ConocoPhillips megaload was scheduled to reach the Kooskia area by this morning after successfully traveling from the Port of Lewiston to the Nez Perce/Clearwater county line Saturday night.

The massively oversized load is the third of four pieces of oil refining equipment bound for Billings, Mont., which is traveling through north central Idaho via U.S. Highway 12.

An Imperial Oil test module that has been stranded by bad weather just shy of the Montana border could resume its journey tonight.
