Megaload remains parked at Kooskia

KOOSKIA – Weather has again halted a second megaload belonging to ConocoPhillips.

The half drum bound for a Billings, Mont., oil refinery has been parked at Kooskia since early Saturday morning after leaving Lewiston on Feb 17. It didn’t move Saturday night so crews could rest and conduct routine maintenance. The oversized shipment has since been stranded by winter weather.
