Walla Walla District Annual Maintenance Outage

The annual maintenance lock closure for Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers is scheduled for March 2016. Maintenance, inspection and repair work will take place at the locks during the closure.

Locks to be closed include McNary Lock & Dam (CO river mile 292); Ice Harbor Lock & Dam (SN river mile 9.7); Lower Monumental Lock & Dam (SN river mile 41.6); Little Goose Lock & Dam (SN river mile 70.3); and Lower Granite Lock & Dam (SN river mile 107.3).

All locks will close on 5 March and return to service on 26 March 2016. The Locks and Dams have scheduled routine inspections and maintenance, as well as some non-routine work. The non-routine work includes gate structural repairs and machinery replacement.

This is a Columbia/Snake River System outage coordinated with Portland District.
