Lower Snake River Navigation Locks

Locking through the Navigation Lock at the following sites, located on the Snake River may require additional time from 0630 on 1 May 2017 through 1700 on 30 June 2017.

Ice Harbor Lock and Dam – Snake River Mile 9.7    Chief Operator on Duty 509-543-3231
Lower Monumental Lock and Dam – Snake River Mile 41.6    Chief Operator on Duty 509-282-7231
Little Goose Lock and Dam – Snake River Mile 70.3     Chief Operator on Duty 509-399-2233 x231
Lower Granite Lock and Dam – Snake River Mile 107.5    Chief Operator on Duty 509-843-2231

Project personnel at these locations will have one fill or drain tainter valve out of service at a time to perform critical maintenance that could not be accomplished during the recent extended outage. While the one single tainter valve is out of service, vessel lockage times may lengthen by up to 10 minutes depending on the direction of traffic.
