In our pursuit of fostering economic development and enhancing our community, the Port of Lewiston is continually evolving, expanding, and striving for improvement. A key aspect of this initiative is ensuring clear and informative communication with you, our valued community.
Each day, we strive to enhance and expand our communication efforts. In the past couple of years, we have greatly expanded our social media presence (follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn!), revamped our website, and launched The Confluence, our Port newsletter. All of this is part of our dedication to being open, transparent, and responsive to the needs of our community.
When we chose to name our revamped newsletter The Confluence, the name resonated perfectly with us. In its simplest form, “confluence” refers to the merging of two rivers, which is especially fitting as we sit at the junction of
the Clearwater and Snake rivers. But a second meaning, the coming together of people or elements, aligns perfectly with our commitment to community, service, and economic growth.
We aim to provide you with a comprehensive view of our Port through all our communications, whether it’s via our newsletter, social media, or public statements in press releases and newspaper articles. From updates on projects such as our new cruise boat dock to our advocacy initiatives aimed at preserving the Lower Snake River Dams, we will keep you informed and, hopefully, enthusiastic about the journey we are embarking on together.
In this sea of change, one thing you can count on is that we will consistently champion this Valley, fostering economic development and positive change with determination and purpose.
