AMENDMENT – NTNI 8072 – START DATE FOR NAVLOCK OUTAGES

2018 WALLA WALLA DISTRICT ANNUAL NAVIGATION LOCK MAINTENANCE OUTAGE
– START DATE FOR OUTAGES

The annual maintenance lock closure for Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers is scheduled for March 2018. Maintenance, inspection and repair work will take place at the locks during the closure.

Locks to be closed include McNary Lock & Dam (CO river mile 292); Ice Harbor Lock & Dam (SN river mile 9.7); Lower Monumental Lock & Dam (SN river mile 41.6); Little Goose Lock & Dam (SN river mile 70.3); and Lower Granite Lock & Dam (SN river mile 107.3).

ALL LOCKS WILL CLOSE at 0600 on Saturday, 3 March 2018.

McNary, Ice Harbor, Lower Monumental and Little Goose navigation locks will return to service at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday 18 March 2018.

Lower Granite navigation lock will return to service at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday 25 March 2018.

The Locks and Dams have scheduled routine inspections and maintenance, as well as non-routine work. The non-routine work includes gate structural repairs, navigation lock concrete repair and equipment/machinery repair/replacement.
