Klemm Farewell Draws Crowd

Family, friends, colleagues, and appreciative members of the community turned out for Commissioner Jerry Klemm’s farewell open house last week. After nearly two decades of dedicated service to the Port, Klemm officially retired effective January 31, 2026. Mark Freeman of American Cruise Lines, Kaci Ralstin of U.S. Sen. Jim Risch’s (R-Idaho) office, and Port of Whitman County Commissioner and longtime friend Tom Kammerzell all gave heartfelt speeches and tributes. All was well deserved by this lifetime servant to his community. We will miss you, Jerry!
