CLINTON, Mont. – The third and fourth ConocoPhillips megaloads have arrived outside Clinton in western Montana.

Company spokesman Rich Johnson of Houston said the parts of a second coker drum destined for a Billings refinery arrived at a closed rest area east of Clinton Thursday morning.

He said the loads did not encounter protesters when they traveled through Missoula early Wednesday. In early March, some protesters stood in the road in front of the trucks.

Johnson said the loads are scheduled to arrive near Avon, Mont., on U.S. Highway 12 this morning and cross MacDonald Pass and stop just west of Helena early Saturday.
